The HIA Forum provides an opportunity for those with an interest in HIA to meet, share experiences, hear about new developments and consider how to progress HIA.
This session will consider how HIA fits into the policy making agenda. The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) will co-host this event and provide an opportunity to hear about a recent HIA undertaken on a health policy. Case examples from Scotland and England will also be presented.

This event will be co-hosted with the Public Health Agency as part of the Focus on Health Inequalities month. It will take place at the Island Civic Centre, Lisburn. It will consider how HIA can be used as a tool to work with local government on health inequalities. Guest speakers include Dr Eddie Rooney and Mr Seamus Mullen, Public Health Agency and Mr Liam Hannaway, Banbridge District Council.
