The HIA Forum provides an opportunity for those with an interest in HIA to meet, share experiences, hear about new developments and consider how to progress HIA.  The next meeting 'HIA: a tool to support healthier communities' - 17th September, Waterford Institute of Technology, Waterford

This session will include:

    * An update on how health is being incorporated into the Environmental Impact Assessment process (Carrie Garavan, University of Limerick)
    * What happens after the HIA report? Follow on work from the HIA of the Limerick Regeneration Strategy (Elizabeth Dunbar & Eileen Cary's-Healy, University of Limerick)
    * HIA in the HSE South region (Andy Walker, HSE South)

The meeting will take place from 10am-2pm and includes a light lunch. Attendance is free but advance registration is essential as places are limited. To register, please email Tara Burke at tara.burke@publichealth.ie
