Consultation on Practitioner Regulation

The UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) is developing regulation for Public Health Practitioners and a consultation event is taking place at:-

The consultation event is focus around the process of implementing regulation for public health practitioners; specifically it will focus on:

  • the proposed process for practitioners being admitted to the register
  • the revised draft standards for public health practitioners
  • a draft Code of Conduct for practitioners

The event is aimed at practitioners from public health in private and voluntary sectors as well as local government.  Your involvement means that you will:

  • have the opportunity to shape and influence public health practitioner development
  • gain an understanding of the developing registration standards in advance of the registrations coming in effect
  • learn from your involvement with others and therefore contribute more to your CPD
