The Health Research Board’s (HRB) Centre for Health and Diet Research aims to produce internationally competitive research the will contribute to the evidence base for public policy, health promotion and clinical practice on the prevention and management of obesity, diabetes and related metabolic disorders.

IPH is a collaborative partner in the initiative which has received funding from the HRB and the Department of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries. The Centre will have a virtual base in University College Cork.
