HIA training

Institute of Public Health

The Institute of Public Health in Ireland has developed a programme to build capacity for HIA in Ireland which includes delivery of courses ranging from half day awareness to a three day comprehensive programme.

Courses will be of particular interest to those working in the fields of public health, planning, regeneration, socio-economic development, education, environmental health and community development. Participants to date have included decision makers in local and regional/national government, practitioners and the community and voluntary sector.

Comprehensive HIA training course

Government Department information seminars
