This collection contains 92 case studies included in the “Closing the Gap: Strategies for Action to Tackle Health Inequalities (2004-2007)” project.

The Closing the Gap project was set up in 2004 to work on reducing health inequalities and improving the health of disadvantaged people living in Europe. The Institute of Public Health in Ireland is the projects Irish Partner. The 'Closing the Gap' project facilitates and encourages the exchange of good practice between 22 European countries on the reduction of health inequalities, and includes this initial collection of 92 case studies.
