Using Health Impact Assessment (HIA) as a tool to support action on health inequalties was the focus of a HIA Forum meeting in Dublin on 27 April 2010.
Ensuring health equity is considered in policies developed both within and outside the health system is important and the Forum meeting included a presentation by Sarah Simpson from the World Health Organization.
