Investing for Health Conference 2005 - Challenges and opportunities for Investing for Health
This years Investing for Health conference will address 'Challenges and opportunities for Investing for Health'. The conference aims to highlight the broad spectrum of work contributing to improving health and reducing inequalities across Northern Ireland.
It will explore the challenges and opportunities for Investing for Health (IfH), build commitment and inform future work to ensure the strategy's full potential is realised.
A number of members of the Institute of Public Health in Ireland are leading workshops as part of the conference. This includes:
- Yukiko Kobayashi will present 'Population health observatory for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland - how it can support IfH strategy and partnerships'
- Leslie Boydell and Jorun Rugkasa will present 'Measuring the benefits of partnership working'
- Claire Higgins will present 'Health Impact Assessment: theory to practice'
