Please see information below on job opportunities for nutritionists at the National Nutrition Surveillance Centre in Dublin – apologies to those who are not interested.

We are currently looking to recruit Nutritionists to work on the second round of the WHO European Childhood Growth Surveillance Initiative. Nutritionists are required to carry out fieldwork in schools measuring the heights, weights and waist measurements of children. All nutritionists would be trained in anthropometric measurements and data collection that follow a standardised protocol drawn up by the WHO.

This work would commence in October 2010 for a 10 week period. The surveillance will take place in schools across the country so you would be required to travel.
