TV3 Nightly News with Vincent Browne on Monday 15 June, interviewed Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett authors of The Spirit Level - why more equal societies almost always do better.

The interview was filmed with Richard and Kate following their recent visit to discuss their findings at events in Dublin and Belfast.  The second part of the Nightly News programme includes a panel discussion on the book and the placing of its findings to Ireland.   The panel included TD's Liz McManus and Leo Varadkar. The all-Ireland IPH report  'Inequalities in Mortality 1989-1998' and it's shocking evidence of high rates of health inequalities in Ireland was also highlighted.
