Authors Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett recently discussed their new book The Spirit Level – why more equal societies almost always do better at two seminars hosted by IPH.  The Spirit Level highlights that more unequal societies are bad for almost everyone – rich as well as poor.  This ground-breaking book, based on thirty years of research, opens up a major new approach to improving our health, quality of life and environmental sustainability.  The presentation slides, a Youtube interview with the authors, photographs from the events and IPH press release can be accessed below.

Richard and Kate presented to over 250 people in Dublin and Belfast. They are also Directors of The Equality Trust which campaigns for greater equality of income as the best way to create a better society which can be accessed at http://www.equalitytrust.org.uk
