Terms of Reference for Knowledge Management and Health Intelligence Sub-Committee of the Centre of Excellence for Public Health Research  

1. To work with the new HPSS organisations emerging from the Review of Public Administration including as appropriate, the Regional Health and Social Care Board, the Regional Public Health Agency and other key stakeholders to develop a Public Health Knowledge Management and Translation strategy.
2. To develop a unified Public Health knowledge system, including a web-portal and other web-based tools that can help deliver the right knowledge to the right people at the right time, to effect change in policy or practice.
3. To help develop public health capacity (structures, resources, processes and relationships) to generate relevant knowledge, disseminate it and translate it into more effective practice and policy
4. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Strategy
5. To regularly review these terms of reference.
